The 2027 Troop Member Retreat

The price of a retreat ticket, which includes all programming, food & drink and wellness activities, is $1200 per member during our pre-sale from now until August 15th, 2026. Pricing for regular registration WILL INCREASE AFTER this date.

Members are also required to stay at the JW Turnberry for 3 nights at an exclusive discounted rate of $400/per night (including taxes and fees), totaling $1,200 for hotel costs (in-room incidentals are not included in this price).

This year's retreat is being held at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry, Florida, a short 25 minute drive from Fort Lauderdale International Airport or 30 minute drive from Miami International Airport.

Accommodations can only be booked through a special link that will be sent to members after they register for the retreat; not directly with the venue. The discounted rate, for Troop members, of $1,200 for 3 nights in a single room includes hotel fees and local taxes is available to TroopHR Retreat members only.

Attendees who register during the “pre-registration” period will be contacted by the TroopHR team with a custom link, by September 1, 2026, to book their hotel accommodations. Attendees who register after the “pre-registration” period will be directed to follow a path to book their hotel reservation immediately following event registration.

To attend the retreat, you must book accommodations for a 3 night stay - checking in on Sunday, May 2nd and checking out on Wednesday, May 5th, 2027 at the special rate of $400/night (inclusive of tax and room fees) per our contract with the venue. Please note that this rate is subsidized by TroopHR, exclusively for Troop members, from our regular negotiated already discounted rate. 

‍The regular group negotiated discount rate is $414/night plus taxes and fees (approximately $468/night). This is the rate available to partners of the event. If you are a member and would like to arrive a day early to better accommodate your travel plans we have limited rooms available at a regular discounted price of $414/night + taxes and fees for the nights of Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1, 2027. Members can book accommodations for the Saturday night on a first-come, first-serve basis by emailing support@troophr.com.

Event dates are May 2 - 5, 2027. You should plan to arrive at the hotel on Sunday, May 2, no later than 5pm. Departure is anytime on the morning of May 5, 2027. While it might be tempting to leave the night prior, you will miss the closing ceremony, which lasts until approximately 10 pm. And out of respect for your fellow attendees, we ask that you commit to attending the entire experience.

You are responsible for arranging your own travel arrangements to the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry. For those who don't live nearby, you will be flying into Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) or Miami International Airport (MIA). From FLL, the hotel is approximately a 25 min taxi or car sharing service ride. From MIA, the hotel is approximately a 30 min taxi or car sharing service ride.Both airports are easily accessible from many major cities by direct flight.

Due to our contractual agreements with the venue we have a very limited refund policy. 

The “Pre-Sale” refund policy is good through August 15, 2026. Which is when we will officially be opening registration.

All retreat passes purchased after August 15, 2026 and before February 1, 2027 are 100% refundable within 48 hours of purchase. After 48 hours of purchase retreat passes are non-refundable. For purchases on or after February 1, 2027 no refunds are available under any circumstance.

We recommend you wear the clothes you are comfortable in and if you enjoy dressing up a bit in the evening we encourage you to do so. Swimming attire, clothes for yoga and meditation as well as walking shoes are necessary if you choose to participate in wellness activities.
