Lauren is passionate about leveraging innovation and the power of human capital to solve big problems, especially in the education space. She is committed to making Vivvi THE best place for early childhood educators to pursue their careers. Prior to joining Vivvi, Lauren led the HR function at venture-backed tech startup Eight Sleep as its first Head of People. Lauren was a founding team member and architect of the talent strategy at Venture for America, a social entrepreneurship fellowship, and she went on to lead employer branding and teacher recruitment efforts at Achievement First Public Charter Schools. At the Robin Hood Foundation, she oversaw a $4MM grant portfolio supporting highest quality education organizations in NYC. Lauren started her career teaching middle school science as a Teach For America Corps Member in Washington DC. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Lehigh University, where she graduated summa cum laude with honors, and a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from George Mason University.
