Rachel is the founder of Accelerate Talent Management, an Executive Coaching, leadership development, and team effectiveness consulting firm. She has over 35 years of experience in a variety of industries and brings a deep background in business to her practice. Her focus is on setting and achieving goals and ensuring that progress is both seen and able to be measured. Her clients are appreciative of this data-driven approach and experience real change in their relationships, communication with others, and business results. Coaching, Leadership Development and Team Effectiveness Approach: Rachel believes that strong relationships and trust lie at the heart of successful team and individual performance. She works to ensure her clients understand her approach, have a voice in the process and work in partnership with her to create sustainable opportunities for growth and development. Rachel nurtures her clients but also productively challenges them by asking tough questions designed to spark insight. Prior experience: Before starting Accelerate Talent Management, Rachel worked in a variety of senior-level Coaching, Learning and Team Effectiveness roles at companies including Ketchum PR, MTV Networks, Ross Stores, Pfizer, and Deloitte. In addition, she led Organizational Change Management at multiple companies, partnering with departmental leaders to drive transformation. Clients: Rachel works with a variety of industries, including for- and non-profit. She has worked with clients such as Ascension Healthcare, ResMed, Fitch Ratings, the Harlem Globetrotters, and Dick’s Sporting Goods. In her work, she has supported businesses as they undergo transformation, leadership who need support, and teams who want to improve their ability to connect, communicate and build stronger relationships. Education & Certifications: Rachel received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon and her master’s from The Ohio State University. In addition, she earned a Post-Master’s Certification in Organizational Development from the New School. She is a certified Executive Coach from the NeuroLeadership Institute in New York City, is a certified Resilience Coach, and is a member of the Forbes Coaching Council. She is certified in eight psychometric leadership assessments including the Hogan Leadership Assessment, MBTI, DiSC, Strengths Finder, Honey and Mumford Learning Styles, EQi, Firo-B, and the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Styles. Personal History: Rachel became interested in how an understanding of neuroscience can positively influence leadership growth after her own diagnosis of brain cancer. It changed her life and made her even more passionate about helping others as they navigate their own experience. When not reading nerdy books on the brain, she can be found hanging out with her family, at the gym, or traveling.
